Back in April 2020, aniÂmaÂtor HenÂning M. LedÂerÂer launched his “Books & Sleeves” project where he turns abstract geoÂmetÂric patÂterns, all feaÂtured on vinÂtage book and record covÂers, into mesÂmerÂizÂing movÂing images. Above, you can watch the secÂond installÂment of the project, which doesÂn’t disÂapÂpoint.
In the past, we’ve also feaÂtured more of Lederer’s creÂative work–from his aniÂmaÂtions of mid-cenÂtuÂry minÂiÂmalÂist book covÂers and vinÂtage psyÂcholÂoÂgy and phiÂlosÂoÂphy books, to his aniÂmaÂtion of a 1926 lithÂoÂgraph that famousÂly porÂtrays the human body as a modÂern facÂtoÂry. Be sure to give them all a watch.
