BriÂan startÂed as a teen music enthuÂsiÂast and jourÂnalÂist as earÂly as 1970, runÂning into folks like Jim MorÂriÂson and Nico and makÂing conÂnecÂtions with every musiÂcian he could lay eyes on. He leverÂaged this effort into findÂing vehiÂcles for his songs, first with OK Savant (ca. 1990), a band that freÂquentÂed CBGÂBs and then broke up right as it was signed to a major label. After some false starts and life changes, he likeÂwise used his netÂwork to supÂport his creÂation of three and half solo albums startÂing in 2008. He has also been an active proÂducÂer and colÂlabÂoÂraÂtor for artists like OllaÂbelle, LucinÂda Williams & Taj Mahal, and sevÂerÂal interÂnaÂtionÂal musiÂcians.
