A quick bit of breakÂing news. YouTube.EDU has released VerÂsion 2.0 today and has gone interÂnaÂtionÂal. The site, launched six months ago, now feaÂtures acaÂdÂeÂmÂic conÂtent from the UK, France, Spain, Italy, the NetherÂlands, RusÂsia, and Israel. As part of this globÂal effort, the YouTube team has brought 45 new uniÂverÂsiÂties into the fold, includÂing CamÂbridge UniÂverÂsiÂty, Open UniÂverÂsiÂty, BocÂconi UniÂverÂsiÂty, the Open UniÂverÂsiÂty of CatÂaloÂnia, to name a few. In total, YouTube.EDU now works with over 200 colÂleges and uniÂverÂsiÂties, and serves more than 40,000 videos. When you visÂit, make sure you have some time to spend.
