The Rocky HorÂror PicÂture Show–it startÂed first as a musiÂcal stage proÂducÂtion in 1973, then became a cult clasÂsic film in 1975. Now, a half-cenÂtuÂry latÂer, it gets reborn as a retro video game. SchedÂuled to be released by HalÂloween, the game feaÂtures “8‑bit chipÂtune renÂdiÂtions of Rocky HorÂror’s legÂendary songs,” includÂing the “Time Warp” of course. AccordÂing to The Wrap, it also boasts “8‑bit-styled graphÂics bringÂing the show’s sets and charÂacÂters to life, comÂbinÂing ’80s nosÂtalÂgia with the show’s ’70s retro vibes.” The game will be availÂable for Sony PlaystaÂtion, Xbox, NinÂtenÂdo Switch and Steam. Enjoy.
