As we first mentioned last year, Google has launched a series of Career Certificate programs that allow students to gain expertise in a field, ideally enough to start working without a 4‑year college degree. This initiative now includes a Certificate in Project Management, which consists of six courses.

- Project Execution: Running the Project

- Capstone: Applying Project Management in the Real World
Above, a Program Manager talks about “her path from dropping out of high school and earning a GED, joining the military, and working as a coder, to learning about program management and switching into that career track.” An introduction to the Project Management certificate appears below.
The Project Management program takes about six months to complete, and should cost about $250 in total. Students get charged $39 per month until they complete the program.

Just to point out — you can get your PMP (project management professional) certification from PMI, without a college degree. You just have to show more years of experience. Naturally that’s not relevant to students who don’t yet have those years.

I have joined Google Project Management certificate. It is $39 a month course, usually designed for 6 months but you can complete it in 2 months if spend 12 hours a day. Similarly, there are scholarships and financial assistance for students. But if you want to apply for scholarship, do not start with free trial, start with your application. There are six courses in Google Project Management Certificate, each time you have to apply separately, mean 6 application once you complete each part. So, in order to avoid fuss, if you somehow can afford and have good time to spend, do it quick in 2 3 months. I have completed my first month course in 10 days with 4 hours per day.
It is a really great course, best things is, it is designed in collaboration with PMI, Google and Asana. It is Job-Ready certificate, you will get jobs on the basis of completing successfully and 80% is minimum passing score.
